TERMS & CONDITIONS
If you make purchase from Trotters Riding Wear Ltd, you are indicating that you agree to be bound by our terms & conditions. We may at any point review and update our terms and conditions without notice.
Goods are dispatched same day or next working day.Delivery will always be made to the address provided by you. If your order has not been received within 4 working days of the dispatch email notice, please contact your local sorting office as this is where undelivered parcels are taken if Royal Mail delivery used. You should usually receive a ‘while you were out’ card through your door stating the delivery was attempted. Any customer who fails to act on a ‘while you were out’ card and the item is returned back to us will be liable to pay the cost of re-shipping the item back out to you. If you do not receive the parcel or a ‘while you were out’ card within 5 working days you should contact Trotters Riding Wear. In the unlikely event of an item being out of stock you will be notified via email and offered a full refund if you want to cancel your order.
We will exchange or refund items that are not suitable subject to our Returns Policy. On receipt and inspection of your goods you find them to be not suitable and want to return them you must let us know you wish to cancel the purchase within 7 days of receipt of your goods by email. We will then send a reply asking you to return the items’ within 7 working days.
Trotters Riding Wear is not responsible for the goods until they are back in our possession. Buyer is required to pay postage both ways for exchanged/or refunded items.
Where a refund has been allowed we will refund returned items, within 7 working days of item receipt to Trotters Riding Wear, via the same method payment was made.
Sold items – package sets must be returned as a whole, we cannot refund individually when items are sold as part of a set.
All returns must include your Name, Address and Date of purchase.
Non-Refundable Costs & Items are as follows.
All postage charges are the responsibility of the customer and refunds given do not include the cost of any postage incurred by you unless by prior arrangement with Trotters Riding Wear Ltd. Any item that has free postage has been paid for by Trotters Riding Wear Ltd and upon any refund this charge will be deducted from the total refund.
All refundable postage will be at the most economical charge that we advise you of, if you choose to use another option that is your right however you will only receive the most economical price that we find at the time of requesting a return.
Riding hats and horse bits due to the nature of the item cannot be returned, any queries should be made to Trotters Riding Wear Ltd prior to purchase regarding this.
Any item of clothing either horse or rider must be in its original condition with all tags attached to the item as when purchased and completely free from all dirt, marks and odours. This includes horse hair, horse faeces and mud on horse clothing and free from the smell of horse urine, faeces and cigarette smoke. This also applies to rider clothing. Any items that are found to not be in accordance with the above or not in a resell-able condition will not be refunded and the buyer will be requested to make arrangements for the return of the item themselves either through a third party or ourselves within 14 days of us inspecting the item as it will not be stored within the premises of Trotters Riding Wear Ltd over this time limit.
We will not refund any boots that have been worn outside. When you try on leather boots if the boot cannot be done up easily, then the boot is deemed to tight, if you try to force the zip they may break. When trying a rug on your horse for the first time, please do not take off any tags and try they rug on over a clean cotton sheet or fleece rug, we will not accept any rugs into our warehouse that have been soiled or has signs of wear or covered in horse hair (Health and Safety Act 1972). All horse equipment/clothing etc is made to break under pressure if a accident occurs, or a bad fit etc. We will not be held responsible for ripped rugs, badly fitting straps breaking when your horse rolls, buckles breaking/snapping on badly fitted rugs, etc. If you force any zips or deliberately cause damage to any items you are in breach of your statutory rights. Once you have started to use an item it is deemed that you have fully inspected your purchase and are happy with its quality, any horse clothing i.e. Rugs and leather tack once used we will not be responsible for any damage that may then occur to that item regardless of how little time it has been used due to the immense power of horses. All products are deemed to be fit for purpose new and in good working order after you have inspected them and begun to use them, after this if it is found that the product has been used and become defective Trotters Riding Wear cannot be held responsible for this unless it is found to be an inherent fault with the product as the product would have been in the care of the customer and not Trotters Riding Wear, however if it is within a reasonable time-frame Trotters Riding Wear will endeavourer to help if possible.
Under the consumer protection (distant selling) regulations 2000 you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days. You must inform us of your wish to cancel in writing either by letter or email within a period of 7 working days beginning on the day after you receive your goods. You must take reasonable care of the goods and not use them. You should return goods to us in their original packaging
unused with tags attached, within 10 working days of your wish to cancel. If you return the goods to us, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage to them during transit and we recommend that you use a recorded or secure delivery method. If goods are lost or damaged in transit, we may charge you, or not refund you, amounts that are attributable to the loss or damage.
Clothing & Rug sizing
Any size guide provided has been provided by the manufacturers’ and it must be kept in mind that no two manufacturers are the same; therefore we cannot be held responsible for any decision made when choosing a size. If your rug does not fit and you need a different size, we will accept and replace your item for an alternative size providing that it is in stock and is returned to us unsoiled, horse hair free, labels attached, in original packageing and undamaged or altered in any way. Your item must be returned to us within 7 working days of notification, you will be responsible for the return carriage and also for the cost of us sending out a different size to you. Trotters Riding Wear has no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation, other than to refund the amount paid by you for any items in question.
Photographs displayed on our websites’ are either provided by the manufacturer or generated by ourselves, however we will not be held responsible for any differences in the colouration displayed by your viewing screen i.e.: mobile phone screens, pc monitors or televisions. All products descriptions are made using information provided by our suppliers or ourselves.
All our prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling and goods are sold under English law. Prices may be subject to change at any time.
Trotters Riding Wear Ltd does not accept card transactions from any country which is listed on the UN sanctions list.
Trotters Riding Wear does not pass any of your details to any third parties. Your security details are your responsibility i.e.: your login and passwords.
We never pass your information on to third parties if requested to do so, any information will be held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
We will not be held responsible for damages caused by the use of any items purchased on this website. This applies to all damages with no exceptions.
These Terms & Conditions do not affect your Statutory Rights.
